It felt like spring a week ago.

I'm so behind on our family record, it's overwhelming to think of catching up.  As I was looking through my pictures, I came across the pictures from the day that felt like spring.

I can't remember what we did in the morning, but when I put Mi Na and Stephen down for their naps, Mei Li and I set out a blanket under our tree and did summer school outdoors.  Oh, how I just wanted to take a nap under that tree in that delicious weather!

Stephen woke up and came to join us. And then we noticed mosquitoes.  And then we heard Mi Na's cry.  So Stephen suggested that we have a picnic inside.  We did.  Even after the picnic was over, our kids wanted to lay there and be together there rather than do anything else.  A picnic blanket is just so inviting.

This picnic blanket memory only took up two hours of our day, and I can't remember anything else about that day.  But I loved those two hours so much.  And now I'll remember them.  It's scary how quickly I forget things these days.

It makes me happy to see that blanket in use.
