Tuesday

Tonight, Stephen peed in Mei Li's old potty. Then with socks on his feet, he stepped in it. Gross.

The froggy potty was meant to be his at some point, but today was not the day I had in mind. I was thinking some time in 2011.

It's probably just a fluke, and I'm grateful for that.

I'm grateful that each night, I get to hold this huge sleeping baby and carry him to his crib to be with his sister.

The poor guy sometimes has to sleep with girlie quilts, as his mother has yet to complete the quilt she started for him.

Tax season and sewing season do not overlap. In fact, sewing season may not return until children start going to school, unless Mei Li decides that she wants to take naps and go to bed at a decent hour. Sorry Stephen, you may never get your quilt.

My other Stephen is at work. Our season of joy begins in one week. I'm so grateful that I can see an end to his busyness, and that it won't start up again until January.
