We couldn't have done it without:
Alisha, who watched the kids overnight (thank you!),
our last minute miracle hotel room in Charlottesville,
Vanilla Bean and Orange Burst Gu,
water stations every 3 miles,
and each other.

How fun! It got turned into a mini vacation with a hotel room and no kids!! I'm so happy for you guys. I love races.
Congratulations! You guys are amazing. How did you manage all that training during busy season?!
no wonder i couldn't get a hold of you. you are amazing ie li anne! i admire you! =) love you sis! can't wait to see you and the kiddos and steve-o!
Congratulations, you two.
Wow! That must feel amazing to have run a marathon! I just told Ernesto that we should train for one after baby comes. Do you both run side by side? I think I run much slower than Ernesto...so we'll see how it pans out. Congrats again...that's awesome!
Good job Steve and IeLi!!! That's amazing, Ie Li you are very impressive, it is nearly impossible to accomplish something like that being a SAHM of two toddlers, I am really in awe!
Great job you guys! I am so glad all the details worked out.
Leanna, we only did a half marathon. I don't think we'll be doing a full marathon ever. We did many of our long training runs side by side, but we ran separately during the actual race.
Sarah, I think the training was easier for me than it was for Steve. He was super busy at work, but would try to run at night on our treadmill. I tried to wake up before the kids and run on the treadmill or outside if Steve hadn't left for work yet. If that didn't happen, I could still do it during nap time.
It was definitely a difficult time to train, but it gave me motivation to exercise in the winter.
Kelly, you can do it too! Just one step at a time.
Way to go!
Yay!! I didn't realize it was this weekend. (or was it last weekend??) Great job!
You guys are awesome and an inspiration! Great job setting your goal and following through with it despite work, kids and life!
Good job! That is so fun that you did it together. I wish I could do something like this with my husband but he is too fat. haha. he is just too lazy.
Congrats! I wanted to ask you about it at church but then I didn't get a chance, and now you're gone! So I hope it went well, and have a great trip.
Oh Alexandra, you are too funny. Brigham is neither! You could totally do something like this.
CONGRATS! I am so impressed with your dedication and it must feel so great to have accomplished something you worked so hard for! Now you can think of other things besides training!
