Steve was almost late for training because we all slept in so late.

For some reason, it took me until noon to get out the door today. I think it was because I wasn't sure what to do.
It was a beautiful sunny day. So we walked to 34th st. I believe we stumbled upon Herald Sq, which I only know about from the lyrics of the song, "Give My Regards to Broadway."
34th street is also where there is a GAP and Old Navy with maternity sections! Isn't that sad that that was my plan for today? I feel like I robbed my children of a beautiful sunny day. There was a Mrs. Fields right around there, so I bought them some cookies to ease my guilt.
My plan was to look for some maternity jeans. I have one pair that fits me pretty well, but not well enough to look cute. I couldn't find anything in my size. What a disappointment.
I did buy Mei Li some new undies at Gap Kids. I've noticed that Mei Li's current undies give her a slight muffin top, which is cute, but it is time for some new ones.
Stephen, by the way, slept from 12:30 to 3:00 in the stroller! When he woke up, he ate his cookie.
We stopped at Bryant Park on the way home for a carousel ride. After the carousel ride, I let the kids splash water in the fountain. They were overcome with joy. At least one guy took a picture of them in their state of bliss. Should I be flattered or scared?

Then we sat on the grass together along with the rest of New York. My kids did somersaults and everyone around us laughed at them. People like to make comments about their "energy" or "spunk."
Do you know what else people around here like to say? "It looks like you've got your hands full!" I hear that probably three times a day here. A European tourist in the elevator looked at me and the kids and said, "I am overcome!" What's that supposed to mean?
Anyway, after somersaults and some pigeon chasing, there was one more carousel ride and then back to the hotel. The kids watched a movie while I rested my legs. I love being able to walk everywhere. It makes me feel so good.
Steve came home around 5:40. We ate dinner at Katsuhama, which has delicious katsu curry. The kids had chicken katsu, without the curry.
We went to Goodburger for shakes after. Chick-fil-a's are better. If you haven't had a Chick-fil-a shake, GO GET ONE!
The kids are asleep, and I need to figure out what to do on a rainy day. I think we'll check out the American Museum of Natural History. Wish me luck!

I loved the comment about Mei Li's muffin top. Haha. I wish I could be touring the city with you and help you so your hands weren't so "full." I love you!
Remind me next time I travel, to have YOU plan my itinerary. So fun, I want to go on a trip with you sometime. I wouldn't accomplish 1/16th of what you've done and I'm not pregnant and my kids are good, especially out and about. Go Super-Activity-MOM!!!!
