Thanks to the blackout curtains, our children have been sleeping in past 8. Mei Li surely would have slept until 9 if we all weren't sharing a room, but hey, I will take it.
It was cold and rainy today so we walked to Best Buy to buy a couple of movies. "Night at the Museum" is to prepare the kids for our visit to the American Museum of Natural History, which was Aunt Rachel's suggestion. We also bought "Mary Poppins", but I'm not sure if it's better to show it to them before or after we see Mary Poppins on Broadway. What do you think?

After Best Buy, we walked back to the hotel to watch "Night at the Museum." We had to stop watching in the middle of it so we could be on time to "The Gazillion Bubbles Show." Ana Yang is the bubble artist performer and she does some incredible things with bubbles. The kids really loved it and it gave me a chance to rest a little bit.
Then it was back to the hotel to finish our movie. The movie was a little too scary and violent for my kids. I hope that Stephen's desire to be violent and pretend like he's at war will wear off, but I have a feeling he won't ever be the same.
Steve came home shortly after and then we headed Clinton St. Baking Company for dinner. The kids had blueberry pancakes, Steve had spicy shrimp and grits, and I had fish tacos. Everything was superb.
So far, we're having a good time. But why oh why aren't there elevators at every subway stop?
