Our Weekend

It snowed on Saturday.  Before Halloween.  NBD.  Too bad our heater doesn't work.  Thankfully, our gas fireplace does.

 Steve made snowmen pancakes for the kids.  It was cute.

 Our deck after the snow.  This snow was icy.  It hurt slightly when it fell.  Steve and I didn't do our nine mile runs that day, which means we need to do them on Monday.

 

Steve and I went on a date Saturday night.  It was magical.  We went to a Japanese steakhouse and then Target.  I always forget to take pictures on our dates, so here we are in the car filling up at the gas station.  I really love the expression on Steve's face.

 

Mei lost her tooth today.  She promptly put it underneath her pillow.  Later, she and Stephen threw off the pillows and blankets on their beds so they could jump.  So she lost her tooth a second time.  I was feeling sad and sentimental about the lost tooth so I searched the entire room for it, but couldn't find it.  So I prayed. Not even five seconds later, I placed my hand right on top of it.

  Here is a picture of our new mirror that I found at the thrift store.  It only set me back ten bucks and a coat of paint.  You can't tell from the picture, but the frame has some pretty details in it, but mostly I liked the scale and the price.  I do feel like I need something tall to fill in the sides, though.
