Girls' Friday Night Out

Last week it was Stephen's turn, this week it was Mei Li's turn. She was happy to have Mi Na come along too. She chose to go to McDonald's so she could get a "My Little Pony" toy. I bought a happy meal for her and one for Stephen too. He was sad when he learned that it wasn't date night for him.

Mei and I shared a Sundae.

And we finished every last drop.

Mei and I talked about kindergarten in the fall. I asked her if she wanted to do school at home with me or go to kindergarten. Not surprisingly, she wants to go to kindergarten. She told me she was excited to go to kindergarten to make new friends and learn new things. What a great little girl she is.

Unfortunately, the night was very cloudy and there were no stars or moon to admire, but it was a good night even if I don't like McDonald's. I love spending one-on-one time with my kids. I can't exactly remember when Mei Li became my best girlfriend, but I love our friendship.

Next Friday is boys' night and then it's daddy-daughter date night.
