The kids woke up insanely early this morning. We ate breakfast and went to Target to buy water wings for Stephen. I drove through farm country to get there. It was so pleasant!
I managed to get both kids down for a nap by 12:30.
This afternoon, I felt that discomfort of being in a new place and wishing that I wasn't. So I called my mom. Hearing her voice helped me feel at home again.
After both kids were up from their nap, we prepared to go to the pool. It was our first pool day of the season. We were there for almost three hours. Steve joined us for the last half hour.
Bath. Jammies. Dinner. Books. Scriptures. Teeth. Prayers. Songs. BED!
I read a few Yahoo! headlines and came across a picture of "California Dreams." You know, "surf dudes with attitudes (kinda groovy)." Oh, you don't remember? Here, let me remind you.
Sam was my favorite. Do you have a favorite California Dreamer?
Anyway, that was my day. Tomorrow is going to be busy.

It sounds like a fun but exhausting day. Do you always do bath and jammies before dinner? I need to try that (as long as we aren't eating anything too messy..) it seems like it might make the bedtime routine less exhausting by breaking it up with dinner in the middle. I really miss you! I don't think we've seen each other since you were pregnant with Stephen. I hope you are feeling as well as a pregnant lady can. :)
We hardly do bath and jammies before dinner, but because they went swimming and were in their wet swimsuits, we did. It was a nice way to break things up for that day.
I'm feeling pretty good. I have just five weeks left. I am very tired all the time, but that is to be expected. This pregnancy is flying by, probably because we're so busy with our new house.
I miss you too. We'll probably be in Utah next April so we'll have to meet up then.
Jimmy Fallon had a CD reunion since his Saved by the Bell reunion didn't pan out (Screech refused to come). It's kinda funny. I always liked Sly Winkle. That Sly, he was so sly. haha.
