On our way back from the lake house, we got stuck in traffic right near the exit for Hershey, PA. Right then and there, we made the spontaneous decision to visit Chocolate World.
It was a short and sweet trip. We took their free tour with the free sample of chocolate drops.
On the chocolate factory ride.
This made me think of Ana. She loves Herhey's kisses.
Mei Li was a little unsure about the giant chocolate bar boy.
Stephen was similarly unsure, so he recruited Steve to join the picture.
We each got to choose a candy bar at the end of our tour. It was a historic event for our family.
Since Gettysburg was on the way home, we decided to visit it too. We were full of spontaneity that day.
The town of Gettysburg is darling.
At the Gettysburg Museum. Stephen is a little bit of a jokester.
Love.
Fire!
I love this pose.
So so tired.
I loved Steve's enthusiasm during this trip. He loved learning all the details of the battle, and he drove us around the battlefield trying to explain it all to us. We didn't get through the whole auto tour, which means we'll have to go back and visit again. Thank you, Pennsylvania, for being such a good host.
