We spent our morning playing on the beach and in the pool.

During Mi Na and Stephen's nap, Steve and Mei Li went jet skiing with everyone else. I sort of regret not waking up the kids to go, but considering Stephen and Mi Na's fragile state before their naps, I thought I was making the right decision. Oh well. Live and learn. Here's the fun that we missed:

After jet skiing, we met up at a seafood restaurant by the water for dinner. I ate my first raw oyster. I'm not sure why they're such a big deal.

I can't see any reason why we shouldn't live at the beach all the time. You know?

I am jealous of two things at this moment: 1) you are at OBX and I won't go this year for the second summer in a row, and 2) stephen naps? what the? that was done for Will last year (literally, last April). this world is a cruel and unfair place.
