I do realize that I have probably a hundred posts that say almost the same thing. Sunshine, picnic blankets, the field, the park, smiles, and walks. I never tire of those times or recording them. We are presently living a wonderfully simple life.
We had a bit of warmth today. I took the kids to swim in the morning, took Mei to preschool in the afternoon, and then we spent an hour or so outside in our backyard. I read to my little ones on our picnic blanket, Mei Li and Stephen played with sticks in the dirt of our weed bed, and I rested on the Cheerio-dotted blanket while Mi Na climbed all over me.
We were all wearing stripes today, which was unplanned. I like stripes. Mei Li and Stephen played on the deck on their bikes while I got Mi Na ready for bed.
I had to wrestle the other ones to bed. Stephen took an army of stuffed things with him to sleep. He got out of bed about five times just to say "hi" or ask me a question or ask for another stuffed animal. What a funny boy.
I talked to my mom on the phone tonight about some concerns, and I felt so much better afterward. Things were clearer and I had a better idea of what to do. Thanks, Mom.
Steve came home late. Poor guy. I feel bad that we're having all this fun without him.

I Love that pink hat! So cute! Looks like lots of fun sunny days! And just so you know-you're not alone in the waking up feeling like you've already had a bad day (mentioned in the previous post) I don't have any solutions but I know how you feel! I guess recording the sunny moments helps you get through the not as sunny ones huh?
