Wednesday highlights

1. My visiting teachers came by after I dropped Mei Li off at Princess Ballet Camp. Marci and Wendy are lovely.

2. I picked Mei up from camp and heard her belting out "A Whole New World" as she practiced her routine. None of the other girls were singing. She just can't help herself sometimes.

3. Stephen took his first good nap in a week.

4. I got the kids ready for bed early, and then helped them build a good train track. Mi Na wasn't too happy that I put her down to help them.

5. Mei Li built a crib for her baby doll, Clara.

When the crib collapsed from the doll's weight, Mei asked if I could get her some toy wood and toy tools so she could build her a good crib.

6. I helped Mei Li make a better crib. She was thrilled.

"What's that string for Mei Li?"
"So she doesn't pop out."

7. Stephen named his baby "BA-di-dah"

8. It's funny to hear Stephen say "Mith-ith-ippi."

9. I held my baby the whole day. That's the way both of us like it.

10. Steve and I laughed hard as we watched "Community." Abed is amazing. It's good to laugh together. We must make time to do that more often.

Have you seen the mini doll beds at Ikea? They are adorable and fabulous for little girls that love to put their dolls to bed. Each of my girls have one and play with them daily. It was a great present from my mom. They LOVE them. I'm thinking your little girly girl would love it as well.

No, I haven't seen them. I'm sure she would love it. I will need to check that out. Thanks for the tip.

Your wood does NOT look that honey-colored! At least in the little bit I saw in this picture. Maybe I'm getting my colors mixed. I was thinking my floors were honey too, but if you are calling your floors honey, then maybe mine are amber. There's a lot more red in my floors. I don't like it. I don't mind the color on your floors though! Hardwood in the kitchen might not be a bad way to go...
