There is new sod in the front and back yards.
The flower bed is fixed.
We removed the pond, but kept the rosebush.
The tree and bushes in front have been trimmed.
Steve successfully put up the roller shades in the kids' room.
We ordered bunk beds. There is no way to fit two twins in the kids' room right now, but Stephen really wants a big boy bed. Someone please ease my worries of putting a four-year-old on the top bunk.
Steve fixed the kids' bathroom toilet.
We finally put up a shower curtain in the guest bathroom.
Oh, but there is so much more to do. Progress is slow. I am tired. Not everything will get done before the baby is born. I guess that's okay.

Our George moved into the top bunk I think before he was 3! It was actually better because the top bunk had the guard rail :) The ladder was the only scary part.
Good luck. Those spunky boys seem to always get what they want in the end.
Sounds like lots of progress on the home, fun! And Kaleb was on the top bunk when he was 3 and there has never been a problem with it! The only annoying part about it was when Evan was smaller and could climb up the ladder, but not down..and of course he would continually climb up top and get stuck and scream for me! But with your litte guy he'll probably just sweetly call out that someone is waiting for you :)
Wow that sounds like amazing progress already! Can't wait to see some pictures of the new yard and rooms. We put Oliver on the top bunk when he was 2. The guard rail and the fact that he couldn't get down on his own made it pretty much as good as a crib. Good luck and don't stress out too much.
You look so good Ie Li! I wish I looked like you when I had 3 weeks to go, unfortunately, I think there was a lot more roundness. And it wasn't just the baby! :) Oh well.
Maika was in the top bunk when Kai left the crib, which was when he was 1.5 or 2, which puts Maika at 3 or 3.5. . . He is probably one of the most clumsy boys in the world, but 6 yrs later, he hasn't tumbled out yet! Mei Li will be fine. :)
To add to the bunk bed testimonials... We moved Asia and Evan into bunk beds right before the baby was born too, and they have loved it and Asia loves her space up there and hasn't given me any reason to worry about her. So happy to hear about your new home and I loved reading your NYC adventures. can't believe how much you did prego with 2 kids. Hang in there and I hope you get everything done that you want to... and don't forget to sleep a lot now while you can!
Thank you all for the reassurance. I won't worry anymore.
