10 things that make me smile

1. Steve changing the words to a song to include the kids' names.

2. Steve talking in a cowboy accent while playing with the kids.

3. Stephen trying to do push-ups.

4. Mei Li in ballet class. I'm starting to get very embarrassed by how much she likes to look at herself in the mirror, though.

5. Stephen pretending to be scary.

6. Watching Stephen and Mei Li make new friends with kids they've never met. I love how friendly they are to everyone.

7. When my children request to snuggle with me.

8. Being alone with Steve.

9. Watching musical theater.

10.
Serving others.

What a fun list. And so fast. You must get up with the sun. I learned in Child Development that looking in the mirror helps young children develop a good sense of self, along with play. That's why the walls at BYU's preschool are solid mirrors. Mei Li is just doing her homework.

Very sweet. I thought you were saying you liked to watch Steve try to do push-ups, which made me laugh when I realized I was wrong. I love hearing ballet class stories. Cute! You always have great lists.

Jan, I'm happy to hear that this is normal/good behavior for a 3 year old. Here's hoping that the vanity wears off in the future.
