10 things I'll miss about winter

1. Waking up to a quiet world after a fresh snowfall.

2. The joy of the holiday season.

3. Wearing winter coats.

4. Being able to not bathe my kids for four days straight.

5. A reason to stay inside.

6. Warm-you-up food like soup, stew, chili, and hot cocoa.

7. My cranberry wreath that hung on our front door. I have yet to find/make a suitable spring wreath.

8. Playing in the snow with my children. Snow is really a magical thing.

9. Delicious oranges!

10. Having a bug free home! As soon as spring hits, we have ants. Yuck.

I'm so impressed, Ie Li. Every item on your list is an expression of joy. You have the perfect outlook on life. I'm going to follow in your footsteps from now on. Amen to everything you mentioned. Me too!

I am not one who LOVES the snow, but it would be fun to visit a place with snow for the kids! And I HATE ants too...so annoying! But I do love warm-you-up comfort food!!

Hmmm, I don't think I have 10 things that I will miss about winter. :) But I will miss #4. This winter I fell into a routine of bathing the kids twice a week. Already after a week or two of sunshine it has become clear that that won't fly anymore!

The lack of ants in winter is also a perk.

I love your list! It almost makes me sad that winter is pretty much gone. But I am still mainly just excited for spring!

I hate winter. I only like the winter (ish) holidays. I am counting Thanksgiving in that bc sometimes it is cold then.

We are going to eat your french toast souffle for Easter breakfast.

Alexandra, I'm so glad you liked the french toast souffle.

To everyone else, winter is my least favorite season, but when I thought more about it, I could think of things that I'd miss. It was difficult to come up with 10. Notice at least two of them had to do with food.

Next week's list is 10 things you love about spring. Participate if you'd like.
