Steve and I woke up around 6:00 this morning. It was still very dark outside and my friends couldn't run with me this morning, so I used that as my excuse to sleep in a little longer. It's not safe for a woman to go running by herself in the dark, you know?
When I woke up at 7:50, my opportunity for a morning run had passed. I didn't want Steve to be super late to work, but he told me to go run anyway because "some things are more important."
Then I realized I couldn't go run anyway because Mei Li had a 9:30 Preschool Picassos class at the farm. That's when he let me in on the surprise that he had the day off. Oh deliriously happy day! It also happened to be the day that the farm was having their farmers' market!
