I don't want to live in a messy house!

Yesterday, during Stephen's morning nap, Mei Li and I had this conversation:

Me: Mei Li, will you help me clean up?

Mei Li: Why do you want to clean up?

Me: So we can have clean house. Our house is so messy right now, and I don't want to live in a messy house.

Mei Li: Why don't you want to live in a messy house?

Me: Well, because I'm happier when our house is clean and Heavenly Father also likes it when we have a clean house. It helps us feel the Holy Ghost better.

Mei Li: Okay.

Last night at dinner, Stephen threw his ravioli on the carpet. And then I heard this from Mei Li, "Aaaah! I don't want to live in a messy house!"

I'm with you and Mei Li 100%. How cute she would remember what you taught her.

**Comment meant for the next post** You take a photo of the artwork!! And someday you can put it all in one of those photo books for her, if she wants. I've seen people do that with all the various art projects and items they bring home from school and church (saving only a select few for the memorabilia box), seems like a very clever (and clutter free!) idea.

That is a good idea Rachel. I am not a fan of clutter. Thank you.
